VICIdial is designed on an open-source platform and has a global installation base. It has full-featured predictive dialing and also functions as an Automated Call Distribution (ACD) system. Employees can therefore make predictive or manual calls using campaign lists while handling incoming and outgoing calls on a mixed basis. From a single, centralized web-based interface, employees can also respond to incoming emails and participate in customer live chat sessions via a widget embedded in an existing website. Forwarding options and queue prioritization rules then ensure calls and emails are routed to the most qualified employee, with managers able to listen to employee calls to monitor performance.
VICIdial offers a total of more than 2,000 features including automatic call recording that can be stopped or started at any time while recording calls and call status. User levels and permissions can be set to restrict certain functions or accessibility to the campaign, after which web-based data export and shareable real-time reporting enable authorized employees, managers, and team leaders to analyze campaign performance.
